To create your avatar, simply access the Avatars app through the Teams App Store, pre-join screen, or in-meeting More menu. Customize your avatar’s physical appearance, wardrobe, and accessories with hundreds of combinations. Save up to three avatars for various meeting types, such as casual, professional, and day-to-day settings.
Enhanced non-verbal communication
With animated emoji expressions that your avatar may imitate, you can improve your nonverbal communication. Your avatar will also raise their hand when you, for instance, utilize the raised hand reaction. Through the use of this function, you can communicate in a more dynamic and interesting way during meetings, resulting in livelier and more entertaining interactions.
Improved performance and lighting
Avatars for Microsoft Teams now have a new lighting system that enhances performance and gives avatar skin and hair a more realistic appearance. Future avatars will take even more accurate realism, and this is just the beginning.
